These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all hardware, software, firmware, wearable devices, control panels, sensors, applications, websites, platforms, data services, and related technologies (collectively, the “Products”) provided by Wolven Industries (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing, accessing, installing, activating, or using any Products, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not buy or use the Products.
The Products are technology tools designed to assist users in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and transmitting information, as well as any other act that could help with self-defense.
The Products:
Do not guarantee prevention of crime or harm.
Do not guarantee detection of all incidents.
Do not guarantee recovery of persons or property.
Are not law enforcement agencies.
Are not emergency response services.
Are not monitoring services unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
Do not replace professional security, legal, or emergency services.
The Products provide technological assistance only. All decisions and actions made with or without any of our technology remain the responsibility of the user.
You acknowledge that:
Technology may fail.
Devices may malfunction.
Batteries may deplete.
Connectivity may be interrupted.
Environmental conditions may affect performance.
Sensors may generate false positives or false negatives.
Wearable devices may be removed or damaged.
Software updates may be required for continued functionality.
The Company makes no representation or warranty that the Products will prevent, detect, interrupt, mitigate, or resolve any specific event, including but not limited to theft, intrusion, abduction, assault, property damage, loss of life, or other harm.
All use is at your own risk.
Unless specifically stated by the Company in writing otherwise on an case-by-case scenario, you are solely responsible for:
Proper installation and configuration of Products.
Maintaining internet connectivity and power.
Charging and maintaining wearable devices.
Keeping firmware and software updated.
Securing login credentials.
Obtaining legally required consents for recording, tracking, or monitoring.
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Determining when to contact emergency services or authorities.
The Company does not monitor your property or activities unless explicitly agreed in writing.
The Company does not sell any data about your activities recorded with our Products to any third-party without your explicit, written consent.
The Products may enable users to generate or export structured data intended to assist lawful authorities.
However:
The Company does not guarantee that any authority will accept, review, prioritize, or act upon data generated by the Products.
The Company does not guarantee response times.
The Company assumes no responsibility for decisions made by emergency services, law enforcement, or other third parties.
All contact with emergency services remains the sole responsibility of the user.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their purchases and uses of the Products complies with:
Data protection laws (including GDPR where applicable)
Surveillance and recording laws
Location tracking laws
Consent requirements
Cross-border data transfer regulations
The Company is not responsible for unlawful use or purchase of the Products, given that laws vary by jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for:
Personal injury
Death
Emotional distress
Loss of consortium
Property damage
Theft
Abduction
Data loss
Business interruption
Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages
arising from or related to the use or inability to use the Products.
In no event shall the Company’s total aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific Product or service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:
Misuse of the Products
Violation of applicable law
Unauthorized tracking or recording
Improper installation
Failure to maintain devices
Breach of these Terms
The Company reserves the right to:
Modify Products
Issue firmware or software updates
Add or remove features
Discontinue Products or services
Require updates for continued operation
The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or backward compatibility.
All intellectual property rights in the Products remain the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors.
You may not:
Reverse engineer
Decompile
Disassemble
Modify
Create derivative works
Remove proprietary notices
unless permitted by applicable law.
The Company processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Users acknowledge that certain Products may process sensitive data, including:
Location data
Video or audio recordings
Biometric or sensor data
Users are responsible for lawful configuration and use of these features.
Except as expressly stated in writing, the Products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Anchorage, Alaska, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Anchorage, Alaska.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
