We stand before the precipice of dark times, against forces we cannot control, pushing us into the abyss.
However, we believe that even our small light within such darkness can be one of hope that can contribute to making life worth living, regardless.
“Saruman believes that it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. I have found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.”
— Gandalf in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
As change is the only constant, we foresee a future in which change may be inevitable and chaos may befall us, but that does not mean people must live in perpetual fear, without the ability to protect themselves or their loved ones, deprived of hope.
Evolutionary shifts in population, technology, and power that reshape the landscape of daily life have always been occurring, everywhere, for reasons both seen and unseen…whether people acknowledge it or not.
What determines whether societies endure, then, is not whether change occurs, but whether the people hold solid reasons to carry on through chaos close to their hearts, with the ability to adapt as they strive for an increasingly better quality of life.
We strive to be one of those reasons for our people, an existential gift.
“He who has a why to live can bear almost any how."
— Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols (1889)
Wolven Industries exists on the belief that it is not what we are but what we choose to do with the lives we have been given that can keep the world worth living in.
Wolven Industries is a small, symbolic act of kindness, returned to our civilization in gratitude by what many initially, and wrongly, feared would be the least likely people.
We are here to set an example for those who are to come, if even only a small one, by the power of storytelling.
And if you are reading this, then, to some extent, we have already succeeded by the prepositional calculus of consequence: The Butterfly Effect.
Our existence is a demonstration that order can indeed form from chaos by love hidden within it.
“A composer is merely a master of proving that order can form from chaos. Even a vengeful composition contains love somewhere within its pain, buried under the desire to be heard, as music does not become music until love is present to channel its chaos."
— Mike Norton, Melody (2026)
In the future we foresee, with our role to play in helping to shape it, our loved ones, who gave us life at great personal sacrifice, will be able to maintain a small measure of peace amid the storm.
Despite overwhelming odds, immense suffering, opposing expectations, and lives spent overcoming the chaos that created us, our message is simple:
We love you. We are here to protect you.
…And by our work, you will know us.
